Open Enrollment for 2010-2011
The Open Enrollment period is for students who wish to attend Lexington in September 2010, but do not live in our attendance area. It runs from February 16, 2010 to April 15, 2010. There is NO waiting list. Our district will decide how many places we will have for students living outside our attendance area. . It doesn't matter whether you bring in your application on Feb. 16th or April 15th. If there are more students than we have spots for, it will be done by a lottery style drawing.
If the student would otherwise attend another school in our district: Go to the Anaheim Union School District office @ 501 Crescent Way, Anaheim, 92803 and request a School of Choice form to attend Lexington. Their office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday thru Friday. You will be notified by the district office in mid May 2010. Once you receive approval to come to our school, it is good for both 7th & 8th grade. It does not continue for high school.
If the student would otherwise attend a school in a
district other than the Anaheim Union High School District: You must first go to your school district office and request to be released from your district. If that request is granted, you will take your request to our district office @ 501 Crescent Way, Anaheim, 92803. Our district office will notify you by the end of June 2010 if you’ve been approved or denied.
